Get Local Enquiries with the Test ValleyGazette
Does the Gazette work? If it didn't work would advertisers continue to place adverts? The majority of our clients are repeat advertisers who have had favourable results from the Gazette areas they have chosen to advertise in. From the feed back we get from our advertisers it is clear that there a number of very positive reasons for them to continue to place their ads. A Romsey based web design business that we took on as our web designers from an ad they ran in 3 of the Gazettes made a comment about the Gazette on a blog. Cick here to view.
Repeat Advertisers
- The Test ValleyGazette is so well know now after 15 years of distribution. Our advertisers feel it is an obvious place for them to advertise their local services to local people.
- Our repeat advertisers tell us that the clients they get from the Gazette tell others about the service they received and may often mention that they found the business in the Gazette. Having a repeat entry in the Gazette strengthens their word of mouth referrals, making sure they’re easily found.
- The reliability of the Gazette is a big plus with our advertisers. They know it lands in local homes and businesses every month. Unlike a large directory which is either throw away, used as a door stop or tucked away in a draw and forgotten about. Their adverts are always fresh.
- Because the Gazettes are produced monthly they allow our advertisers to change their offerings throughout the year, targeting particular services at certain times of year.
Advertising in Difficult Times
like Recession
In the current climate it makes sense for the majority of small businesses to seek the most cost effective work. Local businesses can benefit from local trade in a number of ways including reducing travel costs, reducing marketing costs with localised advertising, increasing local awareness and word of mouth, to name but a few.
Did you know.......
'A McGraw-Hill Research study looking at 600 companies from 1980 to 1985 found that those businesses which raised advertising expenditures during the 1981 and 1982 recession had significantly higher sales after the economy recovered. Specifically, companies that advertised aggressively during the recession had sales 256% higher than those that did not continue to advertise'
Make sure your business is in good shape to reap the benefits of a recovering market by continuing to advertise your services through the tough times.

Help With Advert Design

Here at the Gazette we can offer some help with your advert creation and the production of the artwork, making it easier for our advertisers.
